Beyoncé is paying homage to Prince’s Purple Rain for Halloween!

The Grammy winner, 43, transformed herself into the late music legend, as well as Apollonia, the actress and musician who starred opposite Prince in the 1984 rock musical, in a post shared on Instagram on Nov. 1.

The “Crazy in Love” musician also channeled Apollonia in a black blazer and bodysuit in others — and even went topless for one photograph.

“PURPLE NASTY 💜,” the mother of three wrote in her Instagram caption.

That same day, Beyoncé also shared other photos of herself dressed as Betty Davis, the singer and former wife of Miles Davis, on Instagram.

Beyoncé’s recent tributes to the rock musicians have fans convinced that she is leaving clues about the theme of her next album, which will mark the third in a planned trilogy.

The singer’s 2022 album Renaissance was the first, while Cowboy Carter, released in March, marked the second installment.

While Renaissance explored themes of resilience, pride and joy, Beyoncé revealed in a March Instagram post that Cowboy Carter was inspired by “an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed.”

“The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me,” she continued. “Act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”
